Idén is kiosztják a sci-fi díjak egyik legrangosabbját, a Hugo-díjat. A díjat Hugo Gernsbackről, az Amazing Stories című sci-fi magazin alapítójáról nevezték el és 1953. óta adják át a legjobbaknak.
